Greg’s career spans more than 25 years and includes experience in business, operations, manufacturing, and leadership. He holds two master’s degrees: a master’s in geography from South Dakota State University, and a master’s in computer science from the University of Chicago.
Greg spent much of his career implementing enterprise technology suites for government and commercial organizations. Between 1995 and 2005, Greg worked for county government, consulting, and commercial organizations as a county enterprise system coordinator, database manager, and product and project manager. Prior to establishing Open Source Integrators, Greg spent six years as the manager of Esri Defense and Intelligence Services, where he directed consulting operations and managed a software development team of 65 staff members in four locations. In this role, Greg led the creation of the CJMTK Geospatial Appliance, a comprehensive system for enabling military analysis and visualization.
Greg spent 21 years in the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, and on Active Duty, where he retired at the rank of Major and was responsible for the planning and operations of a 452-soldier organization. During his Army tenure, Greg received numerous individual awards and two unit commendations for team excellence.
